Red bull air race 2006

The red bull air race is being held at Longleat in Wiltshire. Last year tickets were free but i think that due to them being sold on ebay for hundreds of pounds they have put a charge of £35 per car

Still a good deal if you want to go and you're bound to make more than £35 for them off ebay if you sold them cause they are limited.

Yep brilliant event, we went last year and have already bagged our tickets for this year too. It's still quite reasonable as it is per vehicle so if you have a mini bus or people carrier then lots of people can cram in!

ooooh i really wanted to go last year - def gonna get tickets this time!
  • Got my ticket - shame the caravan site is already fully booked!! :(

Is anything 'on' other than the air show, i.e. normal Longleat attractions? I did see something on the website about attempting to stagger people going home with other 'attractions'. Wonder of anyone who's been before might know how it works? And if they cost any more!!

I guess having been to Longleat before a picnic might be in order!

So I went for it. But it had gone.'

I remember that last year they didnt have much there, i thought a few merchandising stalls would be there, but wasnt. A good day out though and it was free. I seem to rememmber them opening up the gates that blocked off the safri park from where we were and allowing you to go through. Not sure if they will do the same this year, but worth a look if you're going. I think the gates were round the side of the house, where we had to queue up to goto the pitlane ( right from the back, NO PUSHING IN!!!!).
