Safe Mode - HELP PLEASE!

MIL has just emailed me and said her PC has started in safe mode and how can she get out of it.

Any ideas please? ???

She should be able just to shut it down as per normal.

If it then starts again in SAFE-MODE then obviously somethings not quite right.

Which version of Windows is she using?

Not sure. I have emailed her back and told her to try that and also what version it is.... will report back if any further problems!

Having a similar problem too! sisters pc wont start up? managed to get it to start in safe mode and do system restore to last known good configoration :-/ but not really sure what to look for beyond that? she has no anti virus! so I am currently downloading AVG7.0 to do a scan but as she is on dial up this will take a while!
wondered if anyone had any ideas ???

If she is emailing you from the PC that you're talking about then she is connected to the internet - so can't be in safe mode. ???

Safe Mode + Network Support - ethernet connection into cable modem and thence to Internet - ought to work ???
