Zanussi dishwasher suddenly stopped working

we have a Zanussi DE4744 dishwasher which has never caused us any problems.
Emptied it last night, filled it this morning and none of the program lights come on.
The on/off switch is illuminated but when i try to press a button for a program nothing happens.
Anyone able to help, trawled gogle to no effect

    Lol.... a similar thing happened to us, hubby was quite handy and managed to get ours working again, but alas it died again. I have now replaced it with a very noisy system that constantly whines and groans, its called 4 girls with attitude!! It even dries them and puts them away in the cupboard!!
    Starting weight 17st 4lb - weight now 15st 2lbs

    Well I have removed rotating lower arm and filters and there is no water in there, I dont know how i will remove bottom fascia, lay on my stomach on kitchen floor but cannot seem to budge the screws may have to wait until hubby returns from work is there anything else i can try in the meantime. Though i have sprayed some wd40 on said screws to see if that will help budge them. Thanks

    would prefer daughter not to wash the dishes as she likes to do it but uses vast amounts of detergent and gets it everywhere.

    Get manufacturers instructions, there is a useful sticky at the top of this forum. Follow fault tracing guide.

    I have the manufacuters instruction manual but it doesnt have this problem in it
    Now cant get the B****y thing back under the bench so half inhalf out and blocking my cipboard with the pans in.
    So now cant cook but just as well as have no clean plates:rolleyes:
