PPI Reclaim against NEMO

Hi,
we have an ongoing claim against Nemo (2 years) which is currently with the ombudsman, this has been ruled in our favour with two adjudicators and has been passed to the ombudsman for the final stage. We have had numerous letters from the ombudsman stating there is a backlog of claims.

Could any help and give advice on what is 'the final stage'? And how long do these claims take?

regards

    Hi there & welcome.

    Good luck with this.

We we also successful against NEMO but through the FOS, which did at the time seemed like it taken forever.
It was almost 2 years ago, so now backlogs are growing again.

Ours went to about 2 adjudicators then the ombudsman and did actually take 14 months in total, but as I said about this was 2 years ago and the volumes are getting higher.
If your in any financial difficulty let them know, and request they consider fast tracking for you, let them know your reasons.

However, hopefully you won't be waiting too long now, fingers crossed, please keep us posted.;)

  • Hi,
just to keep the site updated, we have received a letter from the ombudsman and he has ruled in our favour, for NEMO to refund all payments from PPI plus 8% and re-adjust our payments. We also had an extra £200 for inconv. This has taken over two years but well worth it
