Brighton and Hove Council - Private Sector Leasing

Would be interested in hearing from any landlords that have signed leases with B&H council through their private sector leasing scheme.
This is where the council takes on privately-owned homes from landlords, and uses them to house local families in need of accommodation for a 3 or 5 year period.
My experience has been very dismal.
I would like to understand how other landlords have found the administration and management of the properties by their housing department.
For example, their communication, resolution of repairs, how they've treated reports made about their tenants anti-social behaviour, the condition of the property upon the expiration of the lease, etc.
