Anyone had success with Welcome Finance??

Hi, im in the process of complaining to Welcome Finance and was wondering how many mse members have had success (or failure)?? All comments are gratfully received. My case was due to end 22nd December 2009 but have been told should hear by February 2010.

On a good note LTSB have upheld my complaint so just waiting for refund,sent them one letter had 2replys,(1st achnol complaint and the second 4wks later accepting complaint and offering refund,shame Welcome Finance not as quick!!):j

Take a look at Consumer Action Group website, as there are loads or people there in same boat with Welcome, and are getting advice from people.

Hi,

Yes, I reclaimed nearly £3000 from Welcome - went without a hitch - sent one standard reclaim letter which included a request for a breakdown of the insurance costs. Followed by a second letter with a more specific claim and within two weeks a cheque arrived! Hope yours goes as smoothly!

Just a quick update, received final response from Welcome and they have offered full refund of PPI insurance,just waiting for cheque. Followed Martin's advice, started claim october 26th 2009 recieved final letter 23rd january. Everyone outthere keep trying and together we will stop big companies doing this!!
