PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. I wouldn't as it seems rather unreasonable PLUS there might still be the slimmest chance that they may not find another vendor prepared to pay more than you have previously offered.
I'd still change the barrels on the locks however. They are cheap to buy, easy to replace and a breeze to put back again at the end of the tenancy.0 -
i agree. there is no chance of us buying it now anyway as we decided to extend mum and dads, which is well on its way up now and built to our spec for mum......so if they back to us it on price..........to late0
