I seem to remember seeing this post before and yelac21271 replied recommending that you check you video card drivers?
Did you check to see if there were any updated drivers? what model of video card is it you have? Perhaps we could point you in the right direction if you let us know.)

hi there, try the following:
> Right click on your My Computer icon and select 'properties'.
> Click on the hardware tab
> Click the device manager button
> from the list expand the 'display adapters' section
Your graphics card should be displayed here!
If you dont have a my computer icon on your desktop try clicking your start button, right click the my computer option and select properties, then following the steps above.
Once you've found your card try a search on the net for drivers for it, if you get stuck post back and someone will try and help i'm sure!Useful is beautiful0 -

Does the problem occur only with IE, or with other programs too? Find out by opening another application like Notepad with a long length of text in it, Windows Explorer or an email and moving the vertical scroll bar. Try to pin down the problem to software (IE in this case), or a fault that would affect all applications, i.e. video drivers or graphics card.0

If it just happens with IE it could be spyware. Follow the steps in the Spyware Removal Guide - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=133269.0

Not really, the more on-demand spyware tools you use (within reason) the better because some of them catch different things. I have Windows Defender running in the background as my main spyware scanner and run Spybot Search & Destroy, SpywareBlaster and HijackThis every few days.0

would that affect the monitor though,No Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20
