Help Please

Hello, this is my first post, and Ive got a bit of a problem, but unsure if I am in section.
I will try and keep it brief, I recently paid for an item £80 from an internet shop selling binoculars etc.
Postage £8 they did not say who the carrier would be.
A day later I am told parcel dispatched via Royal Mail and tracking number is BR
.
4 Days pass nothing, on the 5th day I use the tracking number to be informed my parcel was signed for and delivered 9.30am on day 4 !!!!!!!
I paid for the item by my Visa Credit Card do you think i will be able to get my money back?
Royal Mail and the shop are saying it takes 15 days before any investigation will take place.
What should I do please.
Regards Peter.

Give it a few more days and go in to your sorting office too if you can.

Then that's it. Contact the store (who are they?) tell them you didn't get the goods. If they don't sort it make a claim with your bank.

You have no claim or business with the Royal Mail apart from a quick visit into their depot. You're not their customer.
