Income support has been reduced !

Hello
My income support is now down to 50 pounds i phoned to querrie and they say it is because i recieve 10 pounds from my childs father.......jeezz i cudda done with being £10 better off it just seems such a let down i fought hard for the 10 pounds in the 1st place to not be better off as they reduced the income support how is this fair!
now i have heard in april i should be bale to keep this 10 pounds and my income support will be put back up by 10 pounds can some tell me if this is correct ??????

you are allowed to keep £20 per week of maintenance before your IS starts getting reduced0

Get onto them asap as they have made a mistake and will backdate the loss once it is sorted.

It has to child maintenance or CSA to get the £20 disregard, if it for you as an ex-spouse or partner it will count in full as income.
What did you tell them it was for?0
