Faulty Freesat+ recorder

Hello

My Freesat+ TV recorder is playing up. I bought it in November 2008 from Argos. Am I within my rights to ask for it to be replaced after the one year warranty has expired?

No, only repair or part refund IF you can provide the appliance had a inherent fault

Repair, replace or refund (partial or otherwise) are all options...but it is for Argos to decide...providing you can prove it's an inherent fault. Which is usually via an Engineers report, that you have to pay for initially, but can claim from Argos if it really is an inherent fault
