Having my baby & thanks!!

Hi all
Just wanted to say thank you for all your kind advice and support recently. It's been great to have an outlet to "speak" to people and talk things over.
I've had a scan and all is well with my baby. I'm a wee bit further on than I thought so I haven't been pigging out as much as I thought when my trousers got tight!
My husband and I have had a few long (and teary) chats. I won't bore you with all the details, but the upshot is we're not getting back together at the moment. I have said I'd never say never because I do love him, but there are many things we need to sort first. He himself said he needs to sort out his reactions to things before we get back.
We've agreed a good maintenance arrangement and I'm feeling a bit more secure now. We've also been to the bank and sorted out our accounts so I've got a bit of money behind me as well. We've also both seen lawyers this week so I know exactly where I stand - and he knows that I know that!
I've viewed 2 houses this week, one of which I really like and I'm hopeful the girls and I will be in a place with a wee garden soon. My girls have also really settled down to the routine of not having Daddy here full-time and they seem to be ok with it. I haven't told them about the baby yet as it's my eldest daughters birthday and I want that to be all about her for now.
I'm still sad, I didn't get married to be alone, but I'm a bit happier now. I know where I'm going and I know I'll be ok no matter what. I've also become quite friendly with a lovely lady next door which has been great.
Thank you again, this is a great place and you were all a great help. Gemma x

I am so delighted that you are keeping the baby. I have been wondering how you were and looking out for your posts. I will keep praying for you all. You really are a very strong woman and I really admire the way you are handling things. Take care and please let us all now how you are getting on.

Whatever happens, those children are lucky to have a mum as strong and sensible as you. I wish you lots of luck with your eldests birthday, and with the pregnancy.Current debt: M&S £0(£2K) , Tesco £0 (£1.5K), Car loan 6K (paid off!) Barclaycard £1.5K (interest free for 18 months)0

Thank you for your advice.
I have discovered in the last 24 hours that my ex wasn't quite as honest with me as he promised and our marriage is well and truly over.
I will be concentrating on building a life for me and the girls, and my new baby.
Thank you0 -
I am really sorry about that Gemma. I wish you and your girls and baby all the luck in the world. Will you keep posting from time to time?0
