Hillesden Securities formerly MBNA?????

Hi there,

Has anyone else had any dealings with Hillesden Securities?? I am asking because I am in the process of trying to reclaim my ppi from MBNA. They sold the debt on to Hillesden Securities and Direct Legal and Collections are the company I now make the payment to. However when I rang to speak to MBNA to ask who I need to address the letter to I was told that Hillesden are NOT part of MBNA. Yet in 2007 when they took me to court and I got a CCJ the Claimants details are Hillesden Securities Ltd ( MBNA) and on all the documents that Hillesden have ever sent me, they have MBNA after their company name. Has anyone else had this happen and if so who is it that actually accepts the payment off the original loan amount if I am successful at claiming my ppi back??
When I spoke to the lady at Hillesden, she said that she doesnt know as she usually deals with the full and final offer side. Could I do that too?? I didnt know that people make that offer to creditors!
Any advice would be great!

    Hello there

Is this some sort of claims company do you know?
Have you been asked to sign anything.

I would do this yourself if you can with the help from this site, just in case the above company charge when your successful.
There are also templates you can use or as a guide, and they have 8 weeks in full to respond, post by recorded delivery, for your proof of posting.

Ask for help anytime and hopefully someone who know this company you mentioned will post up some info for you.

    Please keep us posted, cheers.;)
