Dear All,
I need your help. I have just had my employment terminated! I have a compromise agreement and HR said that they may be able to put something in to say redundancy so that my mortgage insurance pays... What should be on the reference letter or agreed with HR so that I get my motrgage paid. Please can you provide me with working letter examples as I'm struggling..
(N.B. I will visit a solicitors, but any advice may help my peace of mind)
Also, what the gerneral rule in contacting your mortgage insurance company and mortgage bank to let them know. That is should be as soon as you know or wait till the last day of employment date.
Thanks
Ian

Hi iankay1999,
Hubby was recently made redundant and we had to put a claim in through our insurance. I phoned them up explained that I needed to claim and they sent us a claim form through the post.
The one we got sent had a section in it that his employer had to fill in and the job centre had to fill part in. Once we'd got everyone to fill in what they had to and we'd done our part I just had to post it back. They then sent us a letter to say they'd received it and were processing the claim. We then got another letter saying they'd be paying up.
Hope this helps
