I had a no spend day today and boy was it needed. I had an absolute shocker yesterday....it got worse after I posted on the "what did you spend" thread for the day as well PLUS I remembered I'd topped up my mobile as well.
I sat down last night and went through my daily spending notepad and totalled everything up and it was a complete shock. It actually made me feel physically sick how much I had spent.
OK so I haven't added to my outstanding debt but it was still a lot of money and some of it was out of boredom and when I had lost my way recently. Suffice to say a proportion of it was avoidable.
I am glad I looked at it though and worked it out as it was the jolt back into financial reality I needed.

£14.70 on my night out, 69p for a bottle of water (just as well I took one as I was in a New Forest traffic jam for 1 1/2 hours).0
