Made a £100 one off payment to a credit card :j
Will spend about £10 at the market on fruit and veg, and a few 'dry' bits.
So not a no spend day but a happy day because I can afford to do the above!0 -
Morning all.
Nothing so far but am out at lunch today for a friends leaving lunch (eating sarnies before I go) and then this evening have to go to friend's Virgin Vie party.
This will be the ultimate test of willpower. Going to party, looking interested and then not buying anything. (or lending money to buy anything)
I will look but not buy!0 -
Urm! Nothing so far and hopefully it will stay that way.
We had a disaster last night when the freezer decided to defrost itself. However, I noticed in time and managed to save all the frozen food and moved it to another freezer. Quite a bonus actually because I found a load of food I didn't realise we had... great for the store cupboard challange!October make £10/day currently £11.020 -
hi all,
I came in under budget last night, £16, and have a £2 coin to put in my collection! Tonight I am going out for drinks with friends (we usually go for a meal but that works out quite expensive) and have a budget of £30 including cabs (hoping to spend no more than £20 though). I have HM lunch with me (made 5/5 this week, for the first time ever!) so that should be all.Saving for an early retirement!0 -
I have arranged to go out for a chinese with friends tonight, all budgeted for. Been putting a bit of money aside each week for it. Food will be £13.90 (set amount and can eat what and as as much as I like!!) and then just drinks on top of that. Have set myself a tenner for this. Got work tomorrow so can't go OTT!!! All in all hope to spend less than £25.Official DFW Nerd no. 082! :cool:Debt @ 01/01/2014 £16,956 Debt now: £0.00 :j

I feel I've been a little frivolous this week...really annoyed with myself for spending £1.50 in Starbucks yesterday among other 'little things' that were just a waste. :mad:0 -
