Trains from Hull to Newcastle

Afternoon

I'm looking to get from Hull to Newcastle on 29th Jan via train leaving around 4pm returning the next day at around 11:30am

The cheapest return journey I can find is £36.50! Does anybody know any places I will be able to get it cheaper?

Not quite the times you want, but there are Advance Singles available... out at £8.00 and return at £12.50. Total = £20.50.
Need to book via East Coast Trains website to get that £8 fare.
Have a look there and see if the times can be made suit.
