Told in writing? ....and that she would be using their electric?....at a rate she would decide?RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

No, we weren't told in writing and she definitely didn't say anything about electricity.
I found something about her having access to the top of the garden (where the pigeon building and shed are) in the inventory but it isn't in the contract or optional clauses and we didn't sign the page that says she can have special access to the garden.0 -

We've found so many holes in the contract and she has provided us with a Deposit Protection Certificate for someone else's house - where is ours and are our deposits protected!?

Get her to fit one of these so you can tell how much she uses in the shed.

I would maybe turn the power off first and then when she asks whats going on suggest the above.
