Hi,
Some friends will soon be having their first child. I would like to give the baby some money that they can't touch until they are 18 or a similar age, something to encourage them to start saving. What would be the best way to do this? A childs saving account? Premium bonds? Shares? ISA? Any advice would be greatfully received. I will invest £1000 and the baby will be born in September.
