Only just stumbled on this. I do enjoy rummaging around sourceforge, and came across this.
http://osswin.sourceforge.net/
Plenty of open source projects if anyone is interested or fancies trying some out. A few familiar ones there, but also lots of new ones I've not heard of.
If you do find something cool, post below.

Here are my favourite's:
Audacity (audio editor)
FileZilla (FTP client)
ReactOS (Open source OS designed to be Windows compatible!!!)
GAIM (Chat client - I prefer Trillian, though)
Mozilla (the best web browser till Firefox came along)
Anyone else have any recommendations?0 -
Cool never seen ReactOs. The essentials for me would be:
- Ogg Vorbis
- 7-zip
- Azureus
- FileZilla / FileZilla Server
- UltraVnc
- foobar2000
- VideoLAN
- OpenOffice
- Eclipse
- Notepad2
- Eraser
- Gordian Knot
- TrueCrypt
- KeePass
I might play around with a few of the CD burning tools. I currently use Nero v6.6, but might try CDBurnerXP Pro.
Might give OpenSSH a try. Usually run it via Linux, but would be nice to have it setup in Windows."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
Thanks for the link, you might also be interested in taking a look at this one which is postcardware, the maker asks that you send him a postcard in exchange for downloading.

Yep got it and use it (with Ogg Vorbis). Arguably the best music ripper out there due to it's near perfect accuracy. Although what it gains in accuracy it loses in speed."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
