Phone complaint

Good Afternoon,

just looking for some advice. i was looking at some of the post on the website and was just wondering if its best to send a letter as i ve made a complaint to halifax by telephone about ppi i've recived a letter back from them saying that they have 8 weeks to respond to the complaint, but i just said that i had sufficient cover through my employer over the phone.Do you think i should also send a letter to the halifax.

any advice would help

I would just write back to outline your concerns to them (so they have them in writing too) and then still take it from the 8 weeks since they wrote to you. Send by recorded delivery so you have proof in case it has to go to FOS.

    Good luck

many thanks will tap out letter stating that i think it was mis sold as i had a earlier broken leg which i wouldn't be able to claim if i had the same injury again.

once again thanks for your help

That isnt very strong grounds for complaint as its unlikely the employer benefits are as much as the PPI.

That is incorrect. A broken leg is not a medical condition and would have no impact on future claims unless it could be linked to that broken leg.

You are going to need something more substantial than what you have unless you get lucky and Halifax are working on a quota system.

Hi antsmack, I tend to agree with dunstonh on this one. Your reasons perhaps need to be a little stonger than the leg issue.
