Hi all
I bought a replacement slow cooker today in Argos and even had a penny change out of a tenner. It's the Cookworks one, quite small at 2.5 litre capacity - perfect for singletons like me or for luvvy duvvy couples with or without an ankle-biter. The normal price is £19.99 but this is currently a sale item.
Gingham Ribbon & Pink Winged - would you mind leaving this in Old Style for a day or two before sending it to "Grabbit" as I think it'd appeal to mostly Old Style bods. Thanks and kissy kissy!

Thank you Pink, that is indeed the very one! I made a booboo in my first post regards the size of the appliance - the slow cooker is definitely 3.5 litre capacity.

I've had this slow cooker twice now. It's lovely and compact BUT I seem to crack the crockpot after a year or so each time. If you get it do look after the crock.
I never did that to the big morphy richards one I had when i was with the ex (he ate a lot!) - (that lasted 5 years before I decided it was just too big for my needs)so have just invested in a 3.5l morphy richards one again.
they are a good buy, I'm just not careful enough with my washing up, lovely and compact on the worktop.
I'm gonna get one for my sister's Xmas pressie. Remember I was putting together an ol' style kitchen starter pack for her birthday - this will be a nice follow up on the same theme for Xmas. I'll fill it with home madebath bombs and lotions and potions.0 -
Oh thanks, I have threatening to buy one for ages now.
Me thinks i'll have to get dh to take me to argos tonight.0 -

Sorry in advance for dumbness. But what is a slow Cooker and what do you cook in it?0
-
Would this be big enough for two adults and two toddlers. I'm new to all this slowcooking stuff and not to sure about portion size and such.0
