Bought table 4 weeks ago, nothin arrived - Ravaya

As I have mentioned before, Ravaya Furniture are taking the P and now they are saying I will have to wait 6-8 weeks more for my table which I ordered last month!!!!

They offered a similar table and we said OK, but their typical customer service said they will ring back as soon as possible, nothing yet!!

Should I be eligible to some sort of compensation as it states table should be delivery within two weeks. I have started a dispute but will I get my money back if I am favoured by eBay on the dispute? I thought you only get a small chunk of it back. Please advise as this is a dark area for me.

I called them everyday of this week, EVERYDAY!!! They always say they will call back but we hear nothing.

What shall I do? Please post your reccomendations. Am I doing anything wrong?

Thanks,

-MoE-

Was this an eBay item? I assume you paid via PayPal. Will the seller not just refund you?

When did you file the PayPal dispute?

We paid via credit card. We called the and done it over the phone, they say we can get a refund, HOWEVER, as they have delivered the chairs 3 weeks ago one of 2 boxes have been opened. So, 4/8 chairs have been opened and fitted, this is not our fault as we expected the table to come anytime soon.

We were thinking of some sort of compensation, one of my cousins has been round and he said we should get something out of this as its not our fault.

I started a eBay dispute and its been over 10 days so I can close it. Shall I do that?

Yes, I bought it off eBay.

Thanks, not sure what path to take, please advise!!!

I would call them and demand a full refund. Tell them that you have no use for the chairs without a table and please could they collect them from you. Explain that you are very unhappy with having to wait all this time and either they refund you in full or you will be forced to take the matter further.

What's your brother doing? I thought it was your sister that bought the table.

I think you should wait until you are old enough to buy and sell on e bay, and if you haven’t received your table by this time then you should file a non performing seller alert

It wasnt me who ordered the table, Im just speaking on behalf of my brother. His the one who is better of talking to them, my sister wouldnt be able to speak to them properly, english not very good!

I've opened a dispute on eBay, I've not got the option to close the dispute, should I click the option 'I feel I have no other option but to escalate this to a claim.'? What would this do?
