I have just received £10,000 and want to invest with no risk to the money but to be able to have access to the money. Any ideas!

If no risk (or minimal risk**), you need savings not investments, have a look here for "best buys" http://www.moneyfacts.co.uk/menus/main/menu_savings.htm May be surprising, but most instant-access accounts pay better than notice accounts.
