Spending money for 3 days in the Algarve?

Me and my partner are going to the Algarve on saturday, returning tuesday morning. How much do you think I should bring? Would £200 cover me? And I'll suggest the same amount to him?

My friend went to Portugal (Albufeira) last year and she said prices were very reasonable. I would say in general £200 each is plenty but obviously that depends what trips you want to do and where you want to eat, and how much alcohol you drink!

Should be enough. Try some traditional restaurants off the tourist trail to save €'s. Meals will be half the price and just as good. If the restaurants are busy, it's usually a good sign.

Take a debit/credit card for emergencies though.

hi op, me and my Oh have been there last november, portugal is quite cheap. prices are really reasonable, we had £100 each for our 4 days journey, only time we needed a bit more was when we went shopping... enjoy your trip!.
By the way we stayed in a self catering apartment, so went to the supermarket aswell but most of the time ate out.
