Letter From Halifax Regarding Final Settlement

I put a claim in for my charges about 6 months ago which totalled about £950. I recieved a letter from them today stating...

I recently lost my job so contacted them regarding fees as Im currently living in my overdraft and their new fees are £1 per day or £5 per day if you are using an unarranged overdraft so I called them to ask if they could suspend these charges for a while whilst I try get back on my feet, Initially they said they couldnt but I have now recieved a letter from them....

As discussed in view of your current financial circumstances to help you we would like to offer you:
*A payment of £20.00 which amounts to fees debited to your account between 07 October 2009 and 6 January 2010 (This for a start is wrong as the actual amount is over £200)
*The cancellation of any fees you incur in the 3 months after we recieve your acceptance of this offer.

This offer is made without admission of liability. Etc....

On the acceptance form it says...

I confirm that I accept a total amount of £20.00 in full and final settlement of my unarranged overdraft fees complaint.
.........................................................................................

What do people suggest I do?

Does it mean If i do sign and send this letter back I would never be able to pursue my claim should Martin find a way of us trying some other route?

Do you think Its worth me contacting them and asking for more than the £20 as what they have stated is wrong...I have paid over £200 in fees since October 7th.

Any help will be appreciated

I would reply to them saying thank you, unfortunately you seem to have the amount wrong the actual charges amouted to £200 plus, could you review the offer and return it to me when I will be happy to accept in the interim, however I am still concerned about the other charges you have inflicted on me so will write seperately regarding these. (just as an idea)

i recieved the same letter asking me to sign for full setlement, this letter to me is misleading and confusing as regard a customers legal stand point, however the bank customer relations team dealing with charges, assured me that this did not mean i could still claim the rest of my charges later on,this was all prior to the supreme court judgement.i was very suspicious of the letter especially the signing in full settlement
missed direct debit charges, very odd, theres no pain so how come the big gain,i.e £39.00 for a letter
