There is a fantastic beach at Camber Sands and it's often busy in the summer, quite literally packed! In regards to Pontins it depends what you go looking for. There is entertainment in the evenings and during the day and it is aimed for children with the characters etc. I've heard they are doing it up soon.

  • The chalets in pontins will be a disappointment if you end up in a budget, there have been lots of discussions on here about the place, I had a freebie there a couple of years ago thanks to a poster on mse and was able to deal with it because it was free. The place is very dated and the rooms are not the cleanest you would need to give them a clean yourself. I could not get a bath as pressure was too low so was resigned to showers in the swimming pool. There were at least two apartments broken into when I was there and it was quiet noisy. But it was okay but disappointing if I had paid as I have been to quite a few decent places on sun holidays, usually in cornwall, but Rockley park in poole was okay. Selsey is supposed to be okay if you want the se. The camber area is very pretty and apparently there are other caravan sites near by that might be better. As for Duirell check some previous posts (do a search on here) as apparently there is a daily charge on the swimming pool now and it is quite expensive.
