Hi guys I am new here, on the advice of a friend I checked out the website and got a good feeling from what I read here, so much so that it has prompted me to take the plunge and reclaim ppi.
So far over the last week I have sent two number one template letters to Barclays regarding loan insurance to the value of around £8000, three SAR requests to Co-operative bank, Capital one and AMEX the last two being old paid up cards.
I also took out a £25000 loan + £2775ppi in 2003 with First National Bank arranged by Norton Finance, the loan was paid off 17 months later, I contacted Norton Finance asking for a copy of the original agreement and have had a letter saying that once the loan was agreed then First National treated them as a "third" party and that I should contact First National for the documentation I require...... so this is the one I need advice on.... I beleive from what I have read on here that First National were taken over by GE Money, so the question is who do I approach in regard to claiming back the ppi?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated, and many thanks for such an informed site that gives ordinary people hope!

Hello and welcome
Good luck with all your reclaims.
Give GE Money a ring first and ask if the can supply the agreement through them, they should be able to confirm who, and ask for the address details as well, just to be sure.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"
