no delivery

Hi, I am looking for advise on delivery of furniture.
I ordered a sofa in October with next day delivery, however the next day I was called and advised that the item was out of stock and it would probably be in at the end of November. At the end on November, I emailed the company (no telephone number) to enquire the eta of the sofa and was told that it wouldn't be until the end of November! A week later on my enquiry they advised that the container would be docking around about the 17th December and that delivery before Christmas was unlikely. I accepted this. I then received a phonecall from the company at the end of December advising that the sofa would be delivered Wednesday 6th January. I waited in all day, but no delivery. I called the company (now having their number from the call they made to me) to enquire about the non delivery, SNOW was the problem, a legitimate reason in my book. Delivery was rearranged for Monday 11th January, again having waited in all day, no delivery. I called the company on Tuesday morningand was advised that the delivery van had reached the bottom of my road, but could not gain access. I have no idea why as the road was clear of ice and snow except at the very edges.:mad: I was assured that the sofa would be with me by 3pm Tuesday 12th January - still nothing.
Could someone please tell me what my legal rights are before I phone the company again. Unfortunately, due to the size of the sofa, I am unable to find another that would fit. I have paid in full in October, the original order date, with a credit card.
Thanks for your advise

If you want this sofa, what can you do other than wait and/or send a letter.
It would be good if you could name the company so no one else touches them with a bargepole. You have been ridiculously patient.0 -
