Credit Card Insurance problem...

Hi. I have been claiming insurance on my Thomascook Credit Card since i was made redundant in June 09. In november i sent the paperwork signed by the JC to say i was still unemployed so that months payment would be made. A few weeks passed and no payment. I phoned them and they said they never received the paperwork.:rolleyes:. OK so i go back to the JC and get another signed and sent Recorded. This one they received but it was too late to pay it and they said they would basically pay double in December. I phoned them up around the 21st of December and they said a payment was made on the 14th. They said to give it another week or so to hit the account. I checked my account approx a week later and still no payment so i phoned them again. they said they were going to investigate to try to find out where it had gone. So i gave them a few weeks and phoned up last week but as of yet nothing to update. It's getting a bit annoying now how it seems to be taking forever.

Can you tell me what you think a reasonable amout of time to trace the payment would be and if they have paid it into the wrong account, can i demand they pay me straight away as that isn't my problem...?
