TBH most of the faults sound very simple, the electrics can usually be down to something as simple as a dodgy earthing point. If I were you I would get on a specfic forum for your make and model and see what they come up with the faults, if they are simple self fixes just get them done. If they seem to be more serious I would go back to the dealer calmly and politely and see what they say, you may find they are happy to fix them either for free or give you a good discount for doing it. I think if you go in shouting and screaming trying to state SOGA they will laugh at you and tell you where to go as your warranty is 1 month out of date.
The glass I don't think you will get anywhere like others have said.Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -
Windscreen - no. the remainder, can't see why not.
Why exactly?
It all sounds very minor
Window buttons probably need fixed again due to being loose, window probably needs a simple repair, same with the locking
Cant see any being remotely expensive, major or grounds to reject/invoke SOGA.

S.14(2) of SOGA includes a requirement for goods to be "free from minor defects". The fact that the issues are "minor" does not get the retailer out of its responsibility to put things right.
Already said that there are no grounds for rejection. However, you are totally wrong that the (so you say) low cost of putting things right prevents SOGA being enforced.0 -

you cant expect a 3 year old car to be free of all minor faults regardless of costs. These are minor faults and entirely justifiable as general wear and tear for a car of this age.
Not to mention the fact they are quite easily caused by the OP.0 -

Errr - SOGA still applied to second hand cars. Failure of locking system in a car of 3 years is not "general wear and tear".
Don't know what sort of cars you buy but I've never known this sort of fault in a car this new.0 -

I didnt say it isnt.
Failing of a locking system may not be common but it certainly does happen and couldnt be argued to be an inherent fault/non durable and hence replaced under SOGA.0 -

Because something may happen doesn't make it excusable under SOGA.0 -
Thanks for your advice,we didn't notice any problems till recently, the car only had 16000 miles and one previous lady owner so i don't think it's been screwed by a boy racer.0

I think the bottom line is, you don't know whether they will put these things right for you until you ask them.
(Unless I misunderstood and you have already asked and been refused).0 -
