Snowing here again. I agonised over what to do at 07.30. I did contemplate trying to get to work so I would not have to heat my house, to save pennies ;) but I decided I did not fancy more hassle attempting to get to and from work so will work from home today. My hands hurt typing on the PC as it is so cold :( At least I save the cost of my petrol :D

Morning, very icy here, fell over on way to work - didn't want to come in anyway so that's not set the day off to a great start :( Catch you all later, have a good one x

  • Morning all.
Last night was the worst frost according to friend across the road who slithers across for tea every morning.
Started snowing about an hour ago and is going strong.
Plan A for today was to dig my car out and get petrol ready to fetch DD1 and GS from B'ham airport tomorrow morning. No point at the moment.

Snow has been fine up to now cos I've had nowhere to go but now I shall start fretting about tomorrow.

morning all - there's been some rain here overnight and we can see grass and pavements for the first time since 17th December.... there are still some deadly slippery bits tho.

And i have a cold, from running in the sleet last night...

    joy!

Morning, N has been throwing up all night, now R is complaining of stomach pain. Day off work for me but it only means I have to use my holiday allowance or work an evening or weekend, so would much rather be there today.

Making the most of it with a pyjama day for them, complete with blankets and pillows on the sofa, and I will get the kitchen cleaned.

Must eat properly today, couldn't really eat yesterday (even struggled to swallow jaffa cakes ) and feel shaky - need to sort that out before run/gym later.

Hope everyone has a good day, careful on the ice.

DD is coming in from Edinburgh - apparently she has rain at the moment.

The snow really means it here considering we weren't going to get any. :rotfl:
