Calling 0871 numbers from overseas

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me - I'm trying to find out how much it would cost me to call an 0871 number from an Australian landline?

I know Skype is a much better option, but I'm dialing in for a conference call and unfortunately the connection is really bad on Skype as there are so many people on the line.

If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it.

The cost will depend on the actual CARRIER you use, as it is they who set the retail price. No other guidance is worthwhile. That said, MANY of these telephone conferences are available online anyway, only needing a phone link if you wish to contribute.

Call the organisers, and say you;ll be calling fron Oz and this is going to be problematic (the code may not even work!), and they may give you a REAL number to call to connect with the service.
