Thanks for the tip about the Smashbox oil, I'll look out for it on QVC. I don't think you can get Smashbox in the shops.
They don't have it on QVC. In fact I've had a problem locating it at a decent price. Ended up purchasing some on ebay for a tenner all in, but it's from the States. It does last a long time as I'm only half way through my original bottle. Don't know what I'm going to do after the new bottle has run out. Might just try the OCM as recommended on MSE.0 -
to those posters who directed me to Tesco's Bnatural version of C & P. :T I would never have discovered this otherwise.
I think it runs a very close 2nd to C & P which I've used for years. I've found the Tesco version effective at removing my make-up and the smell reminds me very much of Dr. Haushka's Rose moisturising cream.
I suppose if they were around the same price I'd slightly favour C & P but at about a third of the price the Tesco one will be the one I'm sticking with!
Does anyone else think Liz Earle's prices rise way beyond inflation rates? ( esp Daily Repair moisturiser)0 -
Just to let you all know that i scanned the b natural "radiance boosting skincare kit" in Tesco the other day as the shelf edge label said 5.61 but another Tesco had been selling it for £1[and there was no stock left!!!!] and they scanned through at a £1 too so bought a couple!!They contain Organic cream cleanser 60 ml,Radianceface mask 30 ml,Organic replenishing day cream 30 ml.So a great bargain if you wanted to try them out!!Also the Organic facial oil scans at £1 too so bought one to try!Me and OH tried out the face mask last night and my skin feels lovely today!![ dont know about his though!!!]0

I believe Soap and Glory now makes a hot cloth cleanser too. I haven't used it myself, but the range is very popular so I can't imagine it'll be too bad. However, I'm staying loyal to Liz Earle as her stuff has done wonders for my skin
Saying that though, I'm about to try the OCM tonight so that may all change...
Never argue with an idiot; they'll bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.0 -
Have used the no7 cleanser a few times now, with the liz earle cloth as its softer, it removed my makeup fine, although i usually only wear mineral and never any eye makeup, but it just doesn't leave my skin feeling as nice as Liz earles cleanser....thankfully my skin is ok and hasn't reacted to the no7, i bet it takes me forever to use it all up.0

The Boots version does remove eye make up quite efficiently. Thanks for the tip about the Smashbox oil, I'll look out for it on QVC. I don't think you can get Smashbox in the shops.
Just found found the Smashbox Cleansing Oil here in their sale. Am dithering over whether to add it into my basket.0 -

Thanks for that. I've never used Just Beauty Direct, so I'm unsure about ordering it too. I can't find any reviews from anyone who's used that website.
I've recently tried another cleanser which is absolutely lovely. It's Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser by Elemis. It was part of a TSV (Today's special value from QVC). It's really thick and creamy to use, and very luxurious. Elemis will be on QVC today (Sunday) 12noon and 8pm and the cleanser will be part of a 5 piece collection. It's Beauty Day on QVC so there'll be loads of things to tempt us - not a good thing when we're on a money saving site.0 -

Just purchased some more on Ebay. Luckily it's about the same price after you have added the P&P on at Just Beauty. I have used this website to purchase a Smashbox palette and they were excellent.I occasionally check the site for the oil, so it mustn't have been on for long.
Thanks again.0 -

I think I'll send for this, and feel happier now you've recommended the site. It will be a lot less expensive than getting the Elemis set.0 -
I use C&P every morning and then in the evening Smashbox Cleansing Oil...thank you to Mrs E for recommending it...both with LE's muslin cloths.C&P wakes me up and smells lovely. I then follow both with rose water...very cheap and good...then moisturiser.
I've tried Tesco's alternative, but didn't like it and, I think, it does not remove eye make up.
Does the Boots version remove eye make up?
I bought the Tesco Bnatural muslin cloths yesterday (2 for £5.91), they are really nice. Nicer I think than the Liz Earle ones which can be a bit thin.
Is it just me or do others find the Liz earl cloths vary in size & thickness, I have quite a few of them & some are def bigger/thicker than others which seem like think hankies:(
I love LE C&P, The Sanctuary one was ok, the Time Delay one irrates my eyes & the Bnatural makes my face burn red:eek:
Would love to buy the Eve Lom, but it seems such a crazy price for a cleanser:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
Like you its oil & muslin in the evening & hot cloth cleanser & muslin in the morning.0
