  • i had similar thing happen to me, my postman looked me up on fb and sent me a message because he liked me, I did think it was a bit cheeky but it didnt really bother me and I didnt complain, I wouldnt worry about it too much unless he does anything else, its probably very innocent.

Just press 'block this person' and get on with your life.

Just tell him 'I'm just not interested - you aren't my type'.

When I met my son's father I was attending an interview at the time. He told me later that if I had not got the job he would have telephone me to ask me out by getting my number from my job application form.
I got the job so he didn't and since I ended up with him never really gave it much thought.
I do see how it could have been weird after reading this and think you should tell him that doing this sort of thing is not acceptable.
I think its just a question of some men thinking because they fancy you its ok.
Life is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s the way it is. The way you cope with it is what makes the difference.

It does sound like he fancies you, although I do agree he's going about it in a really creepy way. I doubt he realises you're not interested, and that he shouldn't have been looking at your prescription, so I would message him back and say sorry but you're not interested and would appreciate it if he doesn't contact you again. I don't think it's worth complaining to his employer but it might be worth pointing out that he shouldn't be looking at confidential information and this could get him into big trouble if anyone found out. Hopefully that will make him back off.

If he still doesn't get it I would go to the police as he's harrassing you, and you don't want him knowing your address if he's potentially dangerous. Don't get me wrong I doubt he is a maniac but I can see how his behaviour is bothering you and might leave you a little scared of seeing him. Personally I think he's just lacking the social skills to realise you don't like him but he should still understand no means no.

    Good luck with it.

I think you should forget it, he shouldn't have looked at your address but i'm sure lots of others, similar to the postman story above would do something similar if they had the opportunity and fancied someone.
I think if he started to stalk you, then's the time to take it a little further, telling him you're going to tell his boss, and if he still comes back, go to his boss.

You should certainly report it to the Pharmacy (and ask them what action they intend taking), and possibly the Police and Information Commissioner.

He should be sacked for falsely obtaining and using your personal data. It is a serious offence.
  • I ended up leaving it because after he admitted that he had got my name off the perscription, I sent a reply saying i thought it was creepy and unprofessional, and not to contact me again,... and he hasnt.
I don't know... ive had people contact me by my name on a recipt of a shop i was working in (i sound like a really popular lady! hehehe!)... but i dont find that creepy at all... i suppose its due to the confidential nature of it.
Norant- your comment made me laugh, to be honest i think the "liking other women" story would be alot more believable than joining priesthood!!
