tesco credit card

Hi
Here's a quandry which has occurred to me today!
In the past,I shopped in Tesco, gave my Clubcard for points and used another credit card. If anything I bought was unsuitable or whatever I would return it and get a refund and 9 times out of ten wouldn't be asked for my Clubcard to return the points.
I have now got a Tesco Credit card and this is attached to Clubcard.
So - do they now automatically claw back the points on returns?
Does anyone have an answer for me? - I hope so!

That is an interesting point to raise if you are spending a significant sum of money on the credit card.

Don't think I will ever find this out seen as it appears to be a 3 week turn around time to actually get this card...ridiculous. Do they want you in debt or not??

I work for the Tesco Head office and obviously they should always ask for your clubcard when they refund you. It is done automatically if the credit card you used to pay for the item with is a TPF one.

I have 2 clubcard accounts, the one attached to my credit card and a regular clubcard account. I hand over the key fob for the regular account first. The points for the shop go on that account. Then I pay with the credit card, the points for the spend going to that account. It also means I get 2 sets of bonus vouchers each mailing! Both accounts are also logged for wine and healthy eating giving 2 sets of these vouchers too.
