WARNING 'T-Mobile' Scammers

Daughter had a call today from 't-mobile' (unknown number) saying she owed them £15.50 and if she didn't pay immediately her number would be cut off. She hung up but the guy was persistent and called back, I took the call second time around. Said he was John McKinnon from t-mobile and that I had to pay up immediately or be disconnected. We knew there was no problem with the account so I told him in no uncertain terms where to get off. Subsequent call to customer services confirmed that this is a scam.
I know these things are commonplace these days but it could be easy to be caught off guard, please be careful and always check with your provider if you get one of these calls.

I had the same type of call but it was legitimate. Whenever I receive calls from T Mobile there's always a number on the screen so the first time I had one I googled the number and it turned out to be Tmobile.

Even when 3 called me on my old line it would come up with " 3 Customer Services" even though I didn't have it saved in my contact

But yes if it's unknow then be wary!
