We do most of our weekly shopping at Tesco, however I avoid, when possible, using Tesco fuel because of their "profit at any expense" attitude.
They will sometimes have two fuel stations in the same town with different prices, and I am not talking big cities.
They make more money than the rest of them, trouble is they have no real loyalty to their customers.
Asda I believe set one price nation wide now THAT IS DECENT. And so I allways use Asda when I can.0 -
I bought a load of half price furniture this morning at Tesco. Stupidly i didn't split the buy as i could have got 3 vouchers! Doh!
Thought i'd post it in case it prompts someone else not to make the same mistake.
Still i did save £140 on the furniture!:jFortune's always hiding, I've looked everywhere......0 -
Would be great for us that offer except for the one major problem - our tesco doesnt have a petrol station and the nearest tesco with a petrol station is approximately 50 miles away! Yet our tesco still advertises the fuel offers when you spend such an amount!Weight Loss - 102lb0

I dont; see what the big fuss is about super market petorl stations anyway.
Where I live there's only one. Morrisons, and it's more expensive than our local shell.
For the driving I do, I have to say, it's more hassle trying to get to a supermarket (let alone find one) in order to save a couple of pence !!
I'd rather fill up where I can....if discount comes along then BONUS.
I'm sticking with the prospect (and hope) that one day these new discount schemes will come through for us.

Why if you have such an issue with Tesco's policys do you still shop there, and then go to the effort of making another journey to ASDA to buy petrol when you could just do your shopping at ASDA and allow the americans to profit from you rather than support a british company?0
