    You can apply for a budgeting loan from the DWP for a deposit, You dont have to be in receipt of benefits to apply, and can pay back in installments .

    They don't have to have a reason...a tenancy isn't the tenants right for as long as it suits them and not the LL....If you give a tenant the appropriate notice period as per tenancy agreement, you're dong nothing wrong.

    Or that the landlord wants to sell the property for their own personal reasons - retirement, etc.
