Ergoflex mattress - how often do they have a sale?

I have tried out one of these ergoflex mattresses today at a neighbours. She however paid an awful lot less for it a few months ago than the sale prices now, over £200 less.
Anyone follow their prices, do they have different sizes on sale at different times. Googling suggest they have frequent sales.
I've emailed to ask about price and told not negotiable. Not wanting to pay £589 for a superking size.
many thanks

You can get full size steel pocket sprung and memory foam for far less, and they give far superior support.0 -
Has anyone bought an ergoflex mattress? I would genuinely like to know how comfortable they are. I have been looking through some reviews and there is an element of 'suspicious marketing' going on and I do suspect that some of the reviews are fabricated, there are a couple of good examples of this. So has anyone out there actually bought one of these mattresses. Genuine feedback would be welcomed. Thanks0

Tiggywood - I was suspicious of the reviews as well, I read through them all, but I did try my friends. Anyhow as there return policy looked pretty expensive if I decided It was not for me I decided to give it a miss.
I ordered from the other company on the review centre memory-mattress.co.uk that has loads of reviews as well. I went for the 25cm new generation. The guy is really nice and they will pick up for free if it's not for you, their delivery to you is free as well, unlike Ergo so that was a better option for me as I was unsure.
I beat him right down on price as I found it with another company for less. I did however have to pay half for the pillows because of this instead of getting them for free.
My mattress arrived earlier this week and the friend with the Ergo came and helped me unpack it. She thought it felt much nicer than her Ergo.
The reason he has lots of reviews, He sends a link in your order confirmation and asks you to review your purchase when it arrives.
I would say I am pretty pleased with my new mattress.
Hope that helps!0 -

Requesting that customers leave a review isn't exactly playing fair, as the idea of review sites is that people feel so strongly about the company in question, then they will take it upon themselves to go to the review site without being asked to.
Most of the reviews are about delivery, and service. What people need to know is long term performance of the product, and not just what it feels like after a few nights use. After all they are mainly reflex foam/memory foam mattresses which in time start to sag as the bubbles in the reflex foam start to burst.0 -

Thanks for the feedback. It's just so hard to buy a mattress without actually trying it so they rely on feedback, but when I feel that it is dubious it actually degrades the product and what they think is 'clever' marketing actually backfires on them!
Just to let you know. The best type of memory foam mattress for support is pocket sprung with memory foam (2 sided if you can get it). Just make sure they are full size steel pocket springs, and not reflex foam encapsulated pocket springs. These will be cooler than reflex/memory foam, and shouldn't start to sag in time due to the bubbles in the reflex foam starting to burst.0 -
Thanks Tim. I am restricted on height so unfortunately I have to get something that comes in a box/rolled up/vacuum packed (which I know is less than ideal, but I don't have a choice) I did read a lot of your replies on previous threads so thanks for this. I am considering the Spa Sensations Somnio as I have tried their Capri which was reasonably comfortable and has a 5year guarantee (it's springs with some memory foam)0

It's height and width as I can't get a double mattress up and around the corners - my current 'foam' mattress folds in half which is why I got it up there. Anyway thanks for all your help but I've decided to get the Somnio and see what it's like!0 -
I have had an ergoflex mattress for the last 3 years and although it took a couple of weeks to get used to it, its THE most comfortable mattress ever. I bought it in a sale around xmas, delivery and service was top notch and i would not go back to another given the choice. Its now difficult to sleep on any other mattress. It was a little warmer than previous but have adjusted bedding etc. Know several others who have them and feel the same. Reccommend to many people. Friends have gone on my recommendation and now feel the same. I think its a definate hit, but its all down to personal choice;)0
