Laura Mercier do Secret Camoflage pallette which is great beacuse it has 2 different shades you can mix. You only use a small amount with one of their good brushes and it lasts ages even though its £25 it's well worth it. They're in Selfridges usually and you can try before you buy.

Also Screenface do good professional make-up that's high quality for things like covering scars or tatoos.

I have a fairly big one on my hip so no worries about covering it. I don't have a picture though :( It's two butterflies, a dragonfly and stars - OH designed it and I love it :D He's having my name done as an ambigram, it looks really good - he can read it and other people can too.

May sound funny question but can I ask why you feel the need to cover it up?

My tattoo which i have not even had very long is part of me, and i'll be showing it at my wedding as the day is to celebrate my partner and I, my tattoo comes with me.

I've got a butterfly on my shoulder, and I had it done when I was 15. I'm no longer the same person I was when I was fifteen, so don't feel like it's "part of me". It's only on my skin, after all, not in my personality etc.
I'll be covering mine because I'm wearing a vintage dress and I think it will look awful. If I had a rockabilly dress, then I might leave it on show!
However, each to their own and I would never judge another person just because they had a tattoo and a big white dress!

Yeah that makes sense- at 28 I hope i am pretty grounded in who I am! But that really is the reason that I think I would never have got a tattoo much younger than I am now.
Good Grief I dread to think what I would have got on me at 15!!!

Yes- and thanks for taking the time to explain as before I had never really considered that you may have been covering up for your own benefit but had wrongly assumed that you were trying to please other people - and this is what worried me.
