Search your hard drive for bookmarks.html or bookmarks.bak

Sounds like either your bookmarks have been wiped (an old firefox bug) or it's created a fresh profile.

    If you look in:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<% Your Username %>\ApplicationData\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

everything should be stored in and around there.

i dont use firefox, but when i tried it out it imported favourites and stuff from the same place Internet Explorer kept them. See if your bookmarks are in the internet explorer favourites folder...

if there not, i have no idea what you can do.

Unless something has gone horribly wrong, they should be in firefox profile directory labeled bookmarks.html. BTW, you can import them from IE and netscape, as well as mozilla of course.

    Try this:

    close down Firefox completely.

    From Start Menu select Run

    Past in firefox.exe -profilemanager
    then click ok.

This will launch the Profile Manger where you can check in case you've accidentally created a new profile. If there are two profiles listed then just click on Default and you should get your stuff back

Anyone else having problems with firefox? Mine is beginning to screw up the frames and rejecting cookies for no apparent reason. Only does it now and again though.
I've checked all the settings (I think) and all seems well.........

As Wolfman said, Firefox automatically save a regular backup of your bookmarks in your Profile folder.

I run mozilla and I have lost my lot twice - the last lot recently too - very annoying so I must try and find them
