MBNA messing around :(

I sent my letter to MBNA in november regarding the ppi on 2 credit cards and asking for it back basically. I rang to confirm they had got the letter as I sent it signed for and they said they hadnt got t so i sent another one. They confirmed that they got it and said that they would look into it. I have rang them each week and they have said pretty much that they are dealing with it and will get back to me. Tonight I rang to see when they would be sorting it out and the woman that I spoke to said that she had no record of my claim on the system!!!!!! I was not very happy and asked if I could speak to a manager and she said that she was a customer manager. She said that I need to call back in a week or so and it might be put on the sytem by then. I really dont want to give up but crikey!!!!!!!!!!! Has anyone else had the same happen to them?

    Hi there

I'm reading loads similar to your posts lately.

Did you post your letters by recorded delivery?
If so check out the delivery status on the Royal mail website "tracking", and remember if you hear nothing by 8 weeks you can still take this to the financial ombudsman service (FOS).
Good luck, please keep us posted.;)

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker PPI Party Pooper
Hi di3004, yes they were both sent by recorded delivery and what is really annoying is that I sent a letter to the loan dept of MBNA the same day, in the same pot office and yet that dept got the letter. The person that I spoke to today at the loan dept said that they were dealing with it and I had a letter to say that they did not agree however they would rebate the full ppi plus interest at 8% etc etc. Yet the person in the CC dept even suggested that I send another letter asking for the ppi reclaim as on her system it says that I have asked for a breakdown of my premiums. Strange eh, considering she originally said that she couldnt find me on the system!! I queried this and she just said that it says that I have requested the details to be provided but nothing else. I asked if they had a copy of my letter as the next paragraph clearly stated that I would like my ppi paid back to me.I will be ringing back in 2 weeks as she stated and keep you posted.
