If seller can't prove delivery then am appeal won't do him a single bit of good apart from make him look a but dim.
Just keep an eye on paypal though just in case (I don't trust them!)I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I don't think the appeal will stand. This seller has chosen to save a bit of money by posting via non-recorded, that is the risk he has taken and he's probably going to have to accept that had he used recorded delivery he might not have lost out (assuming he did actually post the item).0

Your seller has no proof of delivery. That's where his appeal ends with Paypal.
If your seller has priof of posting (which is sounds like he/she doesn't), then they can try to claim 100 x cost of a First Class Stamp from the Post Office.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0
