Recommend a holiday park for feb half term

Hi I am looking to take the kids away for feb half term but there's not much open that I can see. Can anyone recommend a caravan/chalet park in the North that they have visited in Feb. My main criteria is an indoor pool as the kids 3 and 5 love to swim. Not Center parcs or Butlins as I can't afford either, many thanks

    Do you collect Tesco clubcard points ? can use them for a Butlins holiday

    not sure what else to suggest,as not sure what sites are open that early in the year
  • Thanks, yes I do have tesco vouchers but the butlins prices are so over the top for half term I would rather save them for a ferry crossing later this year. I am also struggling to find out what parks are open as I don't think it's many. I may have to be an ultimate money saver and not take them anywhere!!

    How much are you wanting to pay. Stanwix Park Silloth has a four berth caravan for £154 is this cheaper than butlins
    I hope that my child, looking back on today
    Will remember a mother who had time to play;
    Because children grow up while you're not looking,
    There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
    So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
    I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

    check this site nearer the time : http://www.directholidayhomes.co.uk/late_deals.aspx
  • thanks both, have been to silloth before but not stanwix park so will look up some reviews on tripadvisor and will keep an eye on the late deals website
  • Have to say Stanwix dont do late deals (it may say it does, but the price is still the same). However, I love the place. Indoor pool, bowling, kids entertainment, arcade.
    Most important thing in February is the central heating. Superb. They have it on 24 hrs when you arrive and you need to work out how to turn it off.
    The other thing is it's actually open. Dont know if many parks ARE in feb.
    At least one of the trip advisor reviews are mine too. You'd think they'd pay me a commission the amount of praise I give them lol.
