Forgot to claim contributions based JSA

5 months have gone by since husband was made redundant. He has not claimed any contributions based JSA . Is it too late?

You can make a claim now, but it will not be backdated. Also, it will now be based on tax years 07/08 and 08/09, so you will need to have paid sufficient NI Conts in those years.Gone ... or have I?0
