    Yip - i personally much prefer IVAs over DMPs (although it depends on the situation and I do see a place for DMPs - but as a short term stop gap rather than a long term solution).

    Also, you HAVE to deal with ALL your unsecured debts, you can't pick and choose to prefer one debt over another. You can't say, for instance, "I can't afford my credit cards but i can afford my loans to NatWest and HSBC"

    Change "Natwest and HCBC" to "Great Aunt Flo and Granny Margaret" and you'll see why!

    For some reason, people always like to try to leave out the Credit Union as well when dealing with their debts but you just have to include them all!
