I live in Brum and have taken the kids there, don't expect much as there is very little there, nothing exciting, a couple or so 'free' chocolate bars, maybe the chance to write you name in chocolate or coat something in chocolate etc (just depends what the choose to offer that day) walk along corridors and one small slow ride. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

dont bother, like the others have said, its not worth the money. my son even said that he wishes he had gone to the park instead of cadbury world. its got worse over the last couple of years and now with the americans taking it over, it'l probably shut anyway. thats what they did with the bass museum in burton. coors took it over and then had the cheek to close OUR museum!!!
sorry rant over.
even the shop at CW isnt worth it, you would think they would have real bargains there, but some of the stuff is more expensive than on the high street!!Married the absolute love of my life on Sunday May 6th and I couldnt be happier!!!0 -
I agree the shop is rubbish and expensive I haven't been for a few years, but before that I did go quite often and I did really enjoy it - I've been about 5 times and enjoyed every time!0

oh no! I am worried by all the bad reviews!
I think we will probably go anyway - its still cheaper than a shopping spree round Birmingham. Being from the frozen NE of Scotland, I get a bit overexcited when there are lots of big shops!! lol!:rotfl:0 -

Yeah, we're still gonna go. I went once when I was about 13 (now 23!) but OH has never been.0 -
I went last year, and the kids where bored within the first 5 mins, its so wordy and you hardly get to see any chocolateAlways on the hunt for a bargain0

My nieces and nephews had a good time - aged between 5 and 10 at the time - they found it quite informative.
The only snag we hit was that they are from an isolated (and very white) part of Cumbria - cue the 8 year old at full volume when she spotted an asian woman in a veil - "Look mum, a muslim. We've done them in school." and the 5 year old asking the black factory worker if he was made of chocolate.
Told my brother they really need to get out more. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
