Hi
It's been a week since I ordered 02 Broadband (premium) from 'TopCashBack'; the apparent cashback is a £100, but when I submitted a missing claim, this is what the site says :
"The following Offers were available at the time you made your purchase":

Just to let you guys know, TopCashBack have been quite good in trying to trace the order.
The funny thing is, the record of the order is on TCB's site (i.e. when the order was made, and to which merchant).
They're asking for an order number re. 02, but the only one that was given to me was a very long one - about 12 or so digits. I passed this on to TCB but they said it should be less than that <confused>
One of the main reasons I signed up (to 02 BB) was to obviously get the £100 cashback. I'm still in the 14 day cooling period (well, about 7 days left) - do you think I should cancel and start again ?0 -
Connecting your line to the O2 kit costs O2 ~ £45 from BT Openreach. If you cancel and reorder it would cost O2 another £45. Now if I ran O2 I'd have a system in place that refused a reorder from someone who had cancelled. O2 of course may not have but it's a risk you would take.
My advice would be to persist with TCB and get some clarification on exactly what number they need. I had some sort of tracking hiccup when I took O2 (either BB or a SIM I forget which) through Quidco and remember there was some confusion over what number was needed but I got there eventually0 -

But as mentioned, I was only given a 14 digit number only. There were no letters, spaces, dashes, or anything; just 14 straight numbers. The 'Order Number for O2 should be 9 numeric digits, but with "on-" just before it... e.g. on-123456789
Do you think the sale will still be traced, and that I'll get the £100 cashback ? I mean surely the number I gave to TCB (to presumably pass on to 02), shouldn't pose a problem ?0
