Park Resorts - Which are the best?

Hi,
We're looking for our main holiday and a sun break in October. We've been to Park Resorts a couple of times and the youngest loves Sparky and Narky, so are eager to go back there.
We were thinking Bideford Bay for the summer - but have seen mixed reviews on tripadvisor and Ty Mawr for October half term with the sun hols, as its not too long a trip for the mon-fri break (live just by the M5 in the midlands)
We know what the entertainment is like on the evening, so no worries there, and we go out and about for a few day trips. What I'm worried about is the standard of the caravans.
We've been to Camarthen Bay in Oct (full price) which was fab, Kessingland Beach last Oct (sun hol) which was a good heated chalet, and need to know if anyone has views on the accomodation at either of the above? Also if anyone has any views on local attractions. I know Rhyl is run down, but any ideas for other days out near Ty Mawr.
I know theres loads to do in Devon
Any comments on facilities such as the pool and access to the beach for either park would be appreciated too
Thanks:beer:

I went to Bideford bay a couple of years ago and thought it was terrible! It was a very dingy, unloved site with a really grubby bar area and terrible food!
I would pick Haven over Park resorts any day. Have been to several Havens including Littlesea, Rockley Park and Devon Cliffs and would recommend those over Bideford Bay any day.0 -
Hi,
I have been to Park resorts at Cayton Bay, and found this to be a nice park. We went off peak last year with the Sun hols, and thought it was alot more laid back than the usual Haven parks we have been to.
We are looking at Whitley Bay this year...has anyone any experience of this one ?0
